Origin Made | Candeia Candle Holder

The Candeia Candle Holder consists of a mouth blown glass shade paired with a machined brass or sand cast aluminium base made by three different craftsmen - a foundryman, a machinist and a metal polisher. Candeia’s design was informed by gentle memories from the designer’s childhood: traditional oil lamps used around his home in the city of Porto. The pure solid brass base develops a beautiful patina with time, while the pitted aluminium base gives a striking contrast against the dark amber glass shade. The new 2023 edition stone base offers a different experience, presenting colors and grain details which complement the warm-toned glass shades.
