S/N products are created in Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture, which has a history of metal casting that dates back to the 17th century. Utilizing casting techniques handed down from generation to generation, Nousaku brings a fresh take to an age-old craft. The company was established in 1916 as a producer of Buddhist altar equipment, tea utensils and flower vases. However, in recent years, the company has turned its focus to tableware, interior goods, and lighting fixtures that complement a contemporary lifestyle.
