Terracotta

Terracotta is a beautiful looking type of earthenware - in this case formed by high-fired clay. Terracotta means 'baked earth' in Italian and the pottery technic can be traced all the way back to ancient Greece.

Cleaning and maintenance

• The product requires a minimum of care. However, if necessary clean the product using lukewarm or soapy water and wipe with a dry cloth. Be aware that terracotta can be fragile, so take care when moving the item around.

• The tableware is dishwasher safe. Be careful if stacking the Edge tableware products as the raw terracotta might scratch the glazed surfaces.

• Edge tableware is handmade from natural materials and burned at a high temperature. The color shade and surface of the product can vary from time to time. In that way each piece is totally unique.
