Studio Zung inspires: The Coaty Restaurant in Salvador de Bahia

The Coaty Restaurant in Salvador de Bahia. 

A visionary project by Italian architect Lina Bo Bardi and Brazilian architect and urbanist João Filgueiras Lima @oarquitetolele. Four abandoned buildings were converted into social housing and an empty lot became a restaurant that integrated new architecture into existing nature. 

Natural sky light created at the Coaty Restaurant by architect and urbanist Joao Filgueiras. A stream of vegetation falls from the skylight into the subsequent concrete structure below.
