Scandinavian Modern | Skagerak at Atelier 211

Nestled within Atlantic Beach and Amagansett Lanes, Atelier 211 is a Modern Beach home designed and built by our studio, Studio Zung. We see the objects we place in our home as investments and look for objects that will stand the test of time. Not to be used for a few months and thrown away, but to keep for a long time.

Skagerak's modern approach to the furniture we use so often in our every day lives aligned perfectly with the energy and vision we had for Atelier 211.

Reykjavik Daybed is inspired by the colours and distinctive architecture on Iceland. The bed frame is made from solid German Douglas Pine from Dinesen while the woollen upholstery is from Kvadrat. Change the colour balance by flipping over the mattress . A stunning design for your living room or hallway.

With its slim, black steel frame and classical seat of braided paper cord, Vent Stool has an organic look that will easily complement both modern and traditional interiors.

The seat is hand-made in collaboration with the Danish socio-economic company Blindes Arbejde which employs visually impaired people in the manufacturing of traditional, handcrafted design.
